Cricket history of United States of America
United States of America were hosts and members in the first ever international cricket match against Canada in 18 century (approx.1844), But their participations in international cricket was very little for the next century.
In 2024, the first major achievement came to USA Cricket team, when they achieved the six Nations Challenge to qualify for the ICC Champions Trophy in England. The USA were played their first official ones in international cricket, as per ICC regulations. But they had to wait fourteen more years to play their next international match.
In 2006,the ICC suspended the United States Cricket of America Cricket Association (USACA) over financial and governance issues.In 2008, they started from the bottom,WCL five division.
In 2018, The USA defeat Singapore in the final of the WCL Division Three where their top four finish confirmed them of ODI status.
